Bottle. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, and yeast, with touches of hops. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with touches of caramel malt and yeast. Roasty and malty aftertaste with estery and citric hints. Tastes like an upgraded ok Schwarzbier rather than a stout.

Bottle, 8.7%. Mild roasted and bready aroma. Clear very dark brown colour. Small frothy off-white head. The flavour is quite roasted and very bitter. Lots of raw liquorice, so much that it is much too bitter. More like imperial Schwarzbier than imperial stout.

Deep Black color and a nice tan head. Nose is malty, molasse, faint caramel and dark coffee. Roasted and sweet malts, dark coffee, faint vanilla, decent coffee bitterness. Nice work, guys.
