Deep brown with ruby highlights. Was on. Intro so super pillowy tan head. Night dark fruit, light toasted malts, a bit of coffee, and medium bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Really nice.

From tap at L. Mulligan Grocer, Dublin, 22.03.25. Ebony. Dense and persistent pale brown head. Served very cold. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and perhaps a hint of pine. Slightly waterish, but that impression might be from the cold serving temperature.

Tap at Skaal, Copenhagen 27/01/2024 Dark roasted and sweet malty with layers of chocolate, coffee roast, caramel, singed brown sugar, soft smooth nitro mouthfeel and body, dark malty lingering close. Nice one.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes roasted malt, bread, and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught. Good roasted aroma, sweet liquorice. Very dark brown colour, seems clear. The flavour has rye bread, dry liquorice. Acidic finish. Not as dry as some dry stouts. Good for the ABV.

Draught @ Fox and Hounds, Sønderborg, Øllets Dag 2023. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and coffee, with estery and hoppy touches. Bitter flavour of roast and hops, with sweetish touches of malt and yeast. Dry aftertaste with roasty and estery notes. Reasonable.
