Cask at Egham Beer Fest Autumn 24. Aroma has a prickly resinous to it. Chocolate and malts. Opaque dark chestnut brown. Thick foamy light beige head. Medium-heavy bitter. Resinous. Spicy. Underlying caramel and malts. But it's the resin that leads precedings. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.

Cask. Gravity dispense. Steel City Beer Festival. Hurray! A cask in decent nick here. Clear dark brown. Decent beige suds. Light coffee and chocolate malts. A tad earthy. Leafy hop. Some sweetness and decent hop bitterness. Smooth tasty easy drinking.

Cask at the Kings Arms - Buckfast Street. Pours clear red-brown with a frothy, light khaki head. Light sweet flavour with nice earthy hops, burnt leaves, cocoa, ashy roast, burnt toast. Light bodied with fine carbonation, decent condition. Bitter finish, lightly drying, more well toasted semi-dark malts, earth and dirty leaves. Nice overall.
