Can. Almost clear amber brown beer, a decent bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. This bodied dark malts. A grainy sweetness with very watery chocolate. Estery fruits. Light finish. Fuck me, everything wrong with Brewdog in the end, epitomised in one can.

Can at Watford Tasting. Cheers, Fergus. Aroma has sweet berries and malts. Opaque cold brown. Thin light beige head retreats to form a thin rim. Medium bitter coffee and dark chocolate. Underlying malts. Followed by tangy berries. But all relatively low key. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish.

Tap at Brewdog Soho, London 08/08/2024 Dark roasted malty and hoppy aroma and taste, some cocoa, coffee roast, brown sugar, solid hoppy undertones surfacing, not sure if intentional (not on description) but picking up some cherry/almond like accents in the roasted malty/hoppy close.

Can direct from Brewdog online. It pours clear darkest brown to black with a decent khaki head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, espresso, chocolate covered coffee beans, touch of tobacco and earth. The taste is firmly dry, dark roasted malt, touch of bitterness, smooth, bitter - sweet dark chocolate, cacao nibs, plenty of freshly ground coffee, espresso and light alcohol presence with a bitter - sweet finish. Medium+ body, moderate carbonation and smooth, slick mouth feel. Quite a classy, grown - up stout from Brewdog for a change.
