A lean malt bill inc 30% rice and fermented warm with a German lager strain, we added Cascade, Columbus cryo and brand-new hop varietal Zumo from Segal Ranch USA. It’s dry, crisp and full of tangy grapefruit, orange zest and pine with a clean bitterness.
A perfect summer thirst quencher.

Can from The Green Goddess. Golden pour with a white head. Citrus, pine and spice aromas. Citrus, pine, apricot and peach flavours. Spicy citrusy finish. Refreshing.

440ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of citrus fruits and resinous. Taste of grapefruit, orange, resinous, lime, piney and spicy hop bitterness. Medium bodied. Solid CIPA. My first taste of Zumo hops I believe. The apparently limey note is there but it's not as dominant as Motueka.

Can. Pretty much a clear gold beer l, good bubbly off white head. Airy and semi dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a light sweetness, about right for this slightly thin but bright IPA. Light bright pine into a bright juicy citrus that is slightly floral, good mexican lime peel crispness on the back end. Cascade and Zumo shining. Columbus largely anonymous for me. This hop used to be a boss but sadly, terroir expansion seems to habe properly emasculated it. Overall a nicely bright and limey citric brew that goes down without any real internal controversy. Tres quaffable.

Keg at Waterloo Tap. Aroma is spicy, citrus. Clear gold. Thin foamy white head soon recedes. Light-medium bitter with light resin and spice. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable polite stuff.
