We love getting a brew on with our best pals at Iron Pier and this time around we kept things super sessionable with this light and crushable Pale Ale. Hot side we used UK Ernest and brewery favourite Nelson Sauvin hops then we dry hopped with more Nelson and newcomer Nectaron. Expect notes of gooseberry and nectarine with a refreshing bitter finish.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Elusive online. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. Lightly sweet, quite dry, notes of bitter grass, crispy pale malts, straw, grain, crunchy pine needles. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry and bitter in the finish. Quite tidy.

Light peripheral fruit. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Punchy low ABV pale.

440ml can. Slightly hazy golden, big white head. Aroma of citrus rinds and some earthy notes, raw grains. Taste is citrusy with some vinous notes, gooseberry, grainy malts, strong bitterness, not getting any Nectaron. Medium bodied. Pleasant enough.
