Tap at the Earl of Essex. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a a loose fine white head. Aroma is semi sweet, jammy orange sticky orange juice, peach, juicy fruit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, mineral chalky, light piney hop, orange rind, midget gems, spicy citrus. Palate is semi crisp, highish carbonation, mineral. Decent pale ale.

Taster from tap at Vienna Kraft Bier Fest at Gleisgarten, Saturday Lunch Session. Smells / tastes earthy, tobacco, spices, herbal. I expected something APA like, but this is more classical. quite drinkable. 7, 7, 7, 6, 7

Keg draught at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Mid-gold with a little bit of haze and a small white head. Grapefruit, orange, malty notes in the aroma. Sweet taste, lovely balance. Very malt forward in the mouth followed by loads of grapefruit hop. Simple yet complex, if you get me. Body on the thin side, medium carbonation. Lovely.

Keg at the Black Heart, Camden, 30/05/2025.
Almost clear orange to amber topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange zest, grass, ripe melon, papaya.
Taste comprises melon, mandarin, tangerine, citric tinged straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow juice laden hop bitterness.
Decent enough APA.

(Draught at King's Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 11 May 2024) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, resin and biscuits. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, resin, biscuits and a balanced citric/resiny bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. A bit generic, but clean, crisp and fresh. Nice one.
