Bottle. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee notes, fruity blueberry and blackberry, sweetish notes, vinuous hints. Taste: Complex mix of fruity and light sour blueberries and blackberries, roasted malt, coffee hints, subtle Port notes, sweetish honey notes. Lightly boozy. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Well balanced flavors. Nice one.

Semi opaque dark brown beer, tidy but short lived tan head. Smooth if slightly thin palate, semi dry with reasonable fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, mild dark chocolate and milder coffee. The Port barrelling presents as mild but sweet dark and red berries along with a trace of vanilla oak. Mild esters before a semi dry finish. Nice enough, just feels pretty thin for the style.
