Very loud pop. Gold, a white head settles to a cm. Aroma of old, lemons, flowers, gentle applebox and barn notes. Slippery despite high carbonation. Moderately sour, not completely dry. Some richness that's almost a bit cognac-like supports the citrus and floral notes. Long, gently acidic finish. Excellent. Drinking this now to to see if I should buy more.

PBF XV. Hazy pale orange colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some funky tones quite rich cabonation. Flavour is floral, funky, citrusy and some wooden tones. Citrusy and funky tones.

Bottled at PBF. Clear golden, small head. Funky horseblanket aroma. Tart with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Horseblanket and hay, green apples. Long bitter finish. Excellent.

Golden colour, small white head. Sourish, herbal, a bit funky, tart apple in the nose. Light-bodied. Sparkling carbonation. Green apple, funky notes, sourness, "green elements", minerally, apricot. Drinkability is very good in this one. PBF XV.

Aroma: funky, minerals, horse blanket, seems more powerful than 2022.
Taste: along the same lines, prominent, quite intense, noticeable (but appropriate) acidity.

Poured from 750mL bottle (huge cork shot pop). Chill hazed yellow gold with white head. Funky, carbonation, enjoyable, will be super enjoyable in a few more years.

0.75 l bottle from 'Het Huis van de Geuze', apparently bottled in October 2023, cellared for almost a year. Almost clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, sourish, rather fruity, gently funky aroma of overripe lemon, grapefruit, light apple, hay, some horse blanket and a touch of leather. Just slightly sweet, gently sour, rather fruity and gently funky taste of overripe lemon, hay, grapefruit, leather, horse blanket, gooseberry, oak and white pepper, followed by a medium long, gently tart, quite woody-dry, slightly minerally and a bit peppery finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Rather fruit-forward, relatively clean and mellow Gueuze. Therefore superbly balanced, highly refreshing and rather quaffable. Good!
