Aged for 25 months in Islay Single Malt Whisky barrels, this malty beer features delicate honey aromas and ginger back notes, with a slight peaty, smokiness from the additional time in the barrels.

Can from Vocation & Co, Hebden Bridge. Hazy amber-brown with a bubbly-frothy head. Not so much 'wee', but very heavy, this is a boozy brew, slow sipping, but beyond it's strength is a dominant peatiness - stated in taste, evident in aroma too. It's barrel ageing is certainly impactful.

clear mahogany colour, medium sized creamy beige-ish ecru head; aroma of smoked, peaty, dark berries, unripe fruity, malty and toffee notes; taste has the same notes with soy sauce...and the complete dominance of peat/smoke; great one
