Bottle. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Hoppy, chocolate, coffee. Taste: Nice mix of bittery hop and roasted malt. Lightly resinous, piney, dark chocolate and mocha, orange zest. Dry mouthfeel. Very dry and very long lasting hoppy and roasted malt finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Moderate sweet, medium bitter. Great typical English Porter.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas are ashy, cocoa powder, burnt orange. Taste is dried fruit, charcoal, liquorice. Roasty bitter finish.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head - beautiful. Delicious beer with notes of rich roasted malts, some ash, citrus hop impressions, raisins. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation and velvety texture. Well balanced finish. Supreme.
