Bottle shared at the CBJ tasting, picked up form an Irish online peddler I'd imagine, 15/11/23. Pitch black topped with a khaki head. Nose is rich roast, charr, subtle bourbon, chocolate, dried fruit esters. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, bourbon bite, crunchie bar, hint of honeycomb. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid sipper.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours black-brown with a small, foamy beige head. Medium to big sweet flavour with nice spicy burnt wood, bit of cocoa, raisins, burnt cinnamon, earth, faint smoke. Full bodied, lightly oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more rich burnt wood character, dark malts, earth, raisins, mincemeat pie. Really nice stuff.

Can shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey. Many thanks. A opaque dark brown black liquor,.. Maple. Flavour is composed of cinnamon, chewy, woody, brown sugars, earthy roast, waxy. Palate is medium sweet,. Tonka. Interesting.

Craft Beer Junction bottle share, thanks to Cloin. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, slightly soft and airy, modest fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, richly creamy but with an interesting light bitterness. Soft bourbon and semi dark chocolate Malteasers. Smooth almost milk stout finish. Good stuff.

Cadeautje van de vrouw voor de 28é jaargang van onze trouwdag, time flies.. ff lekker nazomeren op Texel. Flinke chocolade en volmoutig aroma, eerste slok bevat veel ‘booze’, romig, scherp ook, denk dat je deze unit beter wat jaar kan bewaren

Bottle. Color: Black, oily, very thin brown head. Aroma: Bourbon, roasted malt, some liquorice. Taste: Very dense, oily, full body. Low carbonation. Dark and milk chocolate, Bourbon, vanilla, coconut. Some roasted malt and liquorice in the background. Over medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Bit boozy. Almost like eating a Bounty chocolate bar. I think I never / almost never had a beer so thick as this one. Sounds great maybe, but after a few sips it simply gets a bit too much. Even hard to drink the whole bottle.
