Bourbon barrel aged ale 2022 edition. Bottle 0.375l, three years aged. Many thanks, René! Black, opaque. AROMA- bourbon, calvados, raisins, prunes, dark chocolate. FLAVOR- neutral, moderately bitter, very warming, lots of alcohol, bourbon, povidla (plum jam), prunes, raisins, chocolate, earthy. Fuller to full bodied.
Too much alcohol, somewhat flat.

Bottle. Black, light brown head. Heavy roasted aroma, some wood, slightly smoky. Hoppy bitter and roasted flavour, somewhat sharp bourbon booze, some licorice too. Warming, boozy, very bitter finish. Quite surprised to find this for 10kr at a clearance in Føtex...!

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

pourds dark brown with a brown bubbly on top but smooth underneath head. looks in between barrel aged and ordinary imp stout.
Extremely likable aroma of roasted malts, bourbon, wood, licorice, dark chocolate - with the roasted and a tiny bit of smoked malts creating the majority of the aroma. Really good stuff. very solid non-pastry imp stout aroma.. palte is very watery unfortunately.
flavor is dominated by smoked malts, then roasted malts, then some wood and some vanilla/cake frosting. flavor is somewhat of a letdown following the awesome aroma, but still pretty good.

Near black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate with sweet cherry, vanilla and booze. Sweet, light roasted flavour with a smoked touch, vanilla and dried fruit.

Draught @ Beergeek Bar. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, light oak, mild bourbon. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, chocolate, wood, oak, bourbon, alcohol. Full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with loads of warming alcohol. 181023
