Mycket gott

On tap at the ca' del brado brewpub. I've had the purple label before, but this is completely different. The nocino barrel makes this slightly harsh, but also earthy and interesting. Nutty and malty, biscuity, delicious.

Bottle. Amber color, slightly foggy, creamy foam. Aroma: very winey, wine barrel, oak, sourness, caramel, a little dried fruit. Taste: sweetish and very wine, caramel, a little vinegar, sour, a little dried fruit, original.

Bottle. Old Ale aged for one year in freshly emptied Nocino barrels. Aroma: Fruity red and dark fruit, sweetish and tart at the same time, funky notes. Taste: Like in the aroma sweetish and tart at the same time, alternating, Notes of red and dark fruit, some unripe walnuts, candy sugar, spicy notes of cinnamon and cloves. Caramel hints. Bit boozy. Notes of wild yeast funk. Moderate to over moderate sweet, moderate tart, light bitterness. Dry-ish, wood and some tannins. Medium body, under average carbonation. Nice complexity.
