(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 20 Nov 2019) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, coffee and cacao. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, prunes and a balanced coffee bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Solid and well made porter. Very nice.

Third, shared with Finn at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Coast To Coast Bar. Black in the glass, shiny naked surface, dotted spots on the glass. Roasted malty nose, hints of chocolate, inviting. Spiced chocolate flavours followed by a roasted finish. Quite alright. (Third day of the festival, 24.01.2020).

Gravity. På Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2020. Delt med Rune. Svart. Mokkafarget skumring. Aroma av sjokolade & kaffe. Smaken det samme. Litt søt frukt underveis. Ble vel søt.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell, with Svesse on 20th November 2019. Virtually impenetrably black with pale tan foam and spot lacing. A chocolaty coffee aroma. Chocolate, coffee and prune in-mouth, each with measured presence. A touch of smoke. A big, roasty finish of bitter chocolate and prunes, with developing spiciness. A smooth, engaging mouthfeel and a fair amount of body. Could do with being 1° warmer, but that’s just me, being fussy.

Black beer, creamy beige head. Looks perfect. Chocolatey malt aroma, taste is the same with a decent whack of coffee and a little zesty hop in the finish. Decent body to it and very smooth too. Rather tasty

Keg at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a beige head. Nose is coffee, light smoke, dark chocolate, burnt toffee. Flavours are coffee, more smoke, black treacle, dark chocolate. Deep roasty malt finish. Exactly how a porter should be.
