24th July 2019; Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival in St Mary's Church. Cask, 3rd of a pint. Dark brown body, beige topping. Sweet, fruity, creamy with a vanilla feel, add some chocolate too. Different and interesting, my sweet tooth really enjoyed it.

Cask at Ealing Beer Festival 2019, Ealing, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, vanilla, marshmallow aroma and taste. Nice sweet porter.

Cask at the Ealing beer festival 2019. A hazed oily dirty brown coloured pour with a loose dirty tan head. Aroma is sweet jammy roll, strawberry, milky chocolate,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, milky chocolate, raspberry ripple, jammy fruits, little wood. Palate is semi sweet, decent cask condition, little oily. Good.

Cask at Angleterre, Helsinki. Color is dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Vanilla, milk chocolate and roasted malts. Good.

On cask at Monty's Bar. Appearance - dark brown to black with an attractive fawn head. Some red chinks. Nose - marshmallow and honeycomb. Dark chocolate of course. Taste - dark chocolate and marshmallow again, some toffee this time too. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Fairly rich with a good linger and extremely drinkable. Overall - very nice.

Cask @ Salopian, the pub. Pours black, thin deep tan head. Aroma is strong rocky road marshmallow ice cream. Taste continues with strong sweet character, lots of milky chocolate, lactose, marshmallows, a touch sticky, light espresso roast on the finish. It is what it says on the tin. Pretty decent, though it starts to get a bit sweet by the end.

ABV: 4.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted - chocolate, sweet malt, berries - toffee, toffee- marshmallow. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, berries - cherries, toffee, toffee - marshmallow, dark malt - chocolate, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
