Poured up on tap at the Main St. location where it exhibits a crystal clear gold colored body that supports a lasting white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up dashes of lemon lime and floral hops followed by a bit of breadiness. The taste delivers smooth on the palate base punctuated by moderately bitter lemon to lime to floral hops. It ends with a pleasing supple mouth feels. Really nice.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated June 29, 2023. Aroma is grain forward and bready with hints of biscuit as well. Light herbal, floral hop notes with a bit of fruity esters. Faint alcohol notes. Pours a hazy, golden-orange color with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Medium lacing and faint legs. Flavor is a bit sweet with moderately strong grain and bread notes with a touch of biscuit. Medium light bitterness and faint alcohol notes. Medium light herbal, woody hop notes with a lighter floral character. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent Keller pils but I'm not sure this would be to the historical style. This is pretty hazy which I guess isn't surprising for Alvarado St. The aroma was fairly fruity and floral, but the flavor was not. Not a particularly crisp finish. A tasty beer nevertheless.

Can from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a large creamy white head. Aroma of grass, citrus and bread. Med body at least. Flavor is grass/spice/citus with brownish bread. Darkish bread. Very dry. Quite nicely bitter. Delicious.
