Our 2022 vintage of Starry Noche started as a carefully selected blend of Medianoche batches aged for 20-29 months in a variety of freshly emptied Old Fitzgerald 14-year bourbon, Elijah Craig 19-year bourbon, Sazerac 14-year rye, Blanton's 8-year bourbon, Eagle Rare 10-year bourbon, and Henry McKenna 11-year bourbon barrels. After resting in these incredible casks for over two years, the blend was conditioned on more than three pounds per gallon of toasted coconut flakes and raw coconut chips and finished with toasted hazelnut.

Very dark brown with some coconut fat skim on the top. This has a whack of toasted coconut on the nose. Very rich, and super coconut, some chocolate. Silky, some alcohol, but very well balanced. The macadamia shows only a little bit, but this is beautiful. Just rich and heavy and magnificent.

Bottle. Pours inky black, minimal head or lacing. Aroma is full of coconut, nutella, fudge, bourbon, vanilla. Flavor is sweet, light bitter. Thick and oily.

Thick though not fudge, sweet but not cloying, a bit boozy. Lots of coconut, hazelnut, chocolate. Creamy and smooth. Excellent.

Capped 500 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark rusty tan smear. Aroma of chocolate, rye and bourbon. Extremely full bodied. Far from dry. Somewhat sticky. Mouthfeel is thick and smooth. Flavor is the aroma. Not getting much wood, but a little I think. Quite tasty.
