Imperial pint can, 2021 vintage. Roasted malt aroma with notes of cherry, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon and oak. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has very little retention and no lacing. Starts with roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla flavors as well as having a rich, full body and smooth, decadent mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth with tart cherry, bourbon and oak flavors as well as some warming booze at the very end. Quite good still.

a: dark black coloured body with an oily glow | almost no head at all
a: soy sauce | deep cacao | light cherries (duh!)
f: rich prunes | soft brewed coffee | raisins at finish
t: tart cherries | vanilla | creamy finish (albeit very filling)
o: pungent (but polished for sure over time) | good fruit aspect (was expecting less) | why would you do this to a person (19,2/oz can @ 13,4% abv)!?!
19,2 ounce can | Knightly Spirits: Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida | 30-December-2020 | US$17,19!!! | 2020 Vintage (on front of can) | sampled: 25-January-2026, while snowed in after some snow here in Washington!

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a transient, slight dark tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate covered cherries. Not unlike those wonder things from Trader Joe's, except this has bourbon! Full bodied in a silky/oatie way. Flavor is slightly, slightly tart cherry with dark chocolate, bourbon aspects, and smooth toasted/burnt (not harsh) malt. When I get to Asgard, I'll ask for this!

Tall can. Pours black with a smallish beige head. The aroma is dark chocolates, fruits and vanilla. The flavor is more dark chocolate, chocolate covered cherries, vanilla and a hint of bourbon. The palate is full and oily with soft carbonation. Finishes long. Overall Decent.
