Our Alpaca DDH IPA is every bit as premium and luxurious as the animal fibre. Expect strong tropical hop aromas on the nose. Initial flavours of guava and melon are followed by the appearance of honey from the malt. Crisp and punchy, the tropical fruits are well balanced with a dry, bitter finish.

Can from Asda and drunk at home. Hazy dirty gold colour. Lasting white head. Big hoppy hop flower aroma. So big hops in the mouth but moderate bitterness. Mostly citrus flavours. Some pepper. Light malts. Could have done with a bit more body. Aroma and flavour good though.

330ml can from Honest Brew. Dark hazy gold, small white head, nice consistent top. Aroma of lemon, pithy orange, earthy tropical notes, light resin. Taste is very much a mixed fruit salad, with a pithy citrus, and a semi-dry bitter finish. Smooth medium body, slightly low carbonation. Good IPA

440ml can. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, juicy citrus, pineapple, light floral, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

440ml can from Asda in Watford, Herts. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Sweet, orange, mango, pineapple taste and aroma. This was fizzy and mega sweet, no complexity at all, didn't finish it.

Can from Asda, Dyce. It pours cloudy golden - yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, melon, pineapple, pomelo, grapefruit, candy, floury bread, sponge cake and tinned fruit cocktail. The taste is fairly crispy, dry, snappy, touch of greenness, weedy, sweet, ripe honeydew melon, greengage, guava, tinned fruit cocktail, twist of citrus, pithy lemon, touch of alcohol booze and some floury bread with a drying, chalky finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Decent enough supermarket hazy.
