It ain’t easy with a Baltic Porter, and especially not with its imperial version. The stakes are high and it comes down to this: Go big or go home. This beer HAS TO BE good, otherwise its existence is pointless.
Super strong starting extract (26° Plato),loads of chocolatey and burnt malt, plenty of warming up alcohol, distinctive coffee, chocolate, nuts, prunes flavours. And above all, matching bitterness, one that doesn’t overwhelm, but rather encompasses all flavours beautifully.
Be sure to try our barrel aged Ragnars – Floki, Björn and Ivar – as well!

Black with rhick light tan head. Aroma has hard roasted malt, caramel, a little ash and jammy notes. Bittersweet flavour, ashy, tar and hard roasted malt. Berries and licorice. Boozy whiffs. Warming, slightly boozy finish with bitter, raw licorice.

Butelka zakupiona zaraz po BGM6 przeleżała w lodówce cierpliwie czekając na swoją kolej prawie rok czasu, 330ml z datą ważności do 05.2019 . BARWA: czarne jak smoła, nawet pod mocne swiało nic nie widać. PIANA: ciemno brązowa, drobno pęcherzykowa, niska, szybko znika. AROMAT: intensywna gorzka czekolada, suszone owoce (jak się ogrzało po zamieszaniu szkła mocna suszona śliwka (nie wędzona) suszona), aromat świetny złożony, po zamieszaniu szkła praliny i nuty rumowe. Jest bardzo dobrze, czytając niektóre opinie ze jest Risowy trochę celowo przetrzymałem go i efekt jest, dobrze się utleniło. W aromacie zdecydowanie Baltic Porter. SMAK: tu już jest jednak bardziej Risowo, kawa, czekolada i paloność, nawet zaczyna wchodzić ziemistość. Goryczka umiarkowana, nie dominuje, alk dobrze ukryty, gęste, z niskim wysyceniem. Bardzo dobre, choć fakt nie jest to typowy porter bałtycki trochę taki na pograniczu.

Bardzo ciemny brąz,nieprzejrzyste. Piana brązowa. W aromacie czekolada, sos sojowy, kawa. W smaku dominuje gorzka czekolada, kawa. Bardzo treściwe jak RIS. Alkohol dobrze ukryty. Bardzo dobry wytrawny porter.

Bottle from the Browarium Web Shop, Poland. Black pour with a swiftly vanishing tan head. Rich nose of plain chocolate bounty bar, black treacle, chocolate raisin, cocoa, dark roast coffee. Soothing vinous flavours of dark roast coffee, treacle toffee, light bourbon, burnt spice, dark chocolate. Long boozy sweet vinous finish. Satisfying brew.

Caña en el roots Valladolid 01.. 12.. 2018. (r211 ). Color negro intenso con espuma beige que desaparece al poco casi por completo. Sabores maltosos tostados con suaves carbonizados. Ligeras vainillas y toques secos herbáceos lupulados. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Bastante buena para repetir.

Sample at SBWF 2018. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate and light coffee. The same in the taste. Sweetish and with a full body. A decent one.

33cl bottle at Same Krafty vis a vis courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Thin tan head. Clear black pour. Lots of chocolate. Very nice indeed.

8 4 8 4 16Bottle shared at Same Krafty Multitap, Warsaw. Black with a ring beige head. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate, cocoa powder, roast and coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Light full bodied with light carbonation.
