440ml can. Hazy golden, small white head. Aroma of pithy grapefruit, pine. Taste is very pithy grapefruit, orange, pine, more grapefruit pith, finish is very bitter.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma had light fruit, bitter herbs. Medium gold. A tad opaque. Foamy white head. Heavy bitterness. Dry. Resin. Quinine. Underlying malts raise their heads ducking down against the hoppy shrapnel. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Marketed as dry and I am not disagreeing. I like.

Cask at the Alehouse, Reading on 16th September 2023. Hazy amber with shallow foam and scant lacing. Hoppy aroma with citrus zest. Fruity berries, citrus peel and grassiness in-mouth. A grassy hop finish with an escalation of bitterness. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel. Superb, and the best beer I’ve ever drunk in this pub.

On tap at Elusive Taproom, Finchampstead, Berks. A golden/orange/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange taste and aroma. Quite bitter and not really picking up the Talus.
