500ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is fruity roast, liquorice, a little smoke and raw alcohol. Taste has yeasty liquorice, quite raw tasting with booze. Some roast.

500ml can. Pitch black with a dark brown head. Aroma of dark malts, liquorice, chocolate. Taste... the chocolate and vanilla are there but don't come through well at all, in fact, the dark malts and fruity liquorice notes dominate as you'd expect from a more traditional stout. It's full bodied and hides the booze well. So, it's decent, yeah, but just like last year the adjuncts are pointless and far too subtle. Could've and should've been much better.
