Backlog. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy and some mild bready and grainy tones. Flavour is herbal, grassy, bready and grainy with some mild earthy and a bit floral tones too.

14 March 2020. Pre-Lockdown (in hindsight) Tasting with Anke & Pieter. Pours hazy golden with a big, lasting, frothy, off-white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of banana, honey, apricot, grain, bread, yeast. Taste has sweet banana & apricot, yeasty-estery, a bit wort-like at that, with solid bread & honey maltiness. Dryish, yeasty, estery finish, grainy, a tad spicy even. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Tasty Pilsener, crisp & refreshing.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a medium size white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of clean cereal notes with light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of clean cereal notes with some light residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed pilsner that would probably be even more enjoyable directly at the source.

Clear blond to orange beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, not sweet though, metallic, grassy, herbal, some pears. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, fruity, bitter and dry, bit herbal, hint of citrus. Aftertaste: bitter finish, green banana and some banana peel, dry and bitter finish. Nice Czech style lager, except for the banana notes, it's pretty spot on, style-wise.

Botella 33 Cl de Mikkeller shop tomada en Valladolid 3..2..2019 (r13). Fcpref 15..10..2019 en chapa. Color ámbar anaranjado velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores maltosos y cereales, dejando al coger un poco de temperatura un buen sabor de cereales, pan de higos, galletas algo dulces y suavemente afrutados. Poco amargo final. Cuerpo medio con buena densidad, algo pastosa cuando coge temperatura, cierta densidad. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna, refrescante.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Mikkeller Mastodon Ancient Kingdom ].Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, sweet malt - caramel - biscuit, moderate hoppy, grass, grass - hay - wet hay, light fruity hops - flowers - grass. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, grain, grass, grass - wet hay, medium dry, sweet malt - biscuit.
