Looking back to the 2010s for inspiration from the band Interpol, Barricade is a TDH DIPA that blends bold hop flavors with a smooth finish. Featuring notes of citrus and stone fruits, this beer delivers a satisfying aftertaste.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 01/12/24. Murky orange topped with an off white head that thins to the edge over time. Nose is bitter orange, pine resin, dank chimes, grapefruit, papaya. Taste comprises orange pith, guava, ripe mango flesh, pine resin, melon, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come resinous hop bitterness allied to a balanced boost. Tidy DIPA.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Palate is briefly smooth before a good fine minerally crisp snap kicks in. Light pale malts, quite a forward creamy sweetness, certainly wouldn't want any sweeter. Hops bring crisp pine into pretty decent and fairly juicy Nectaron stone fruits with a decent back drop of key lime Motueka. A little hop spice on the finish that brings the lightest touch of HBC630 candy fruits. The linger has a suggestion of hop spice. Good stuff.

440ml can. Murky golden, white head. Aroma of juicy ripe peaches, guava, lime, grapefruit. Taste is slightly sweet, very peachy, tropical, guava, grapefruit and lime, bit of a candied fruit vibe to it. Medium bodied. Solid DIPA.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Milky golden body with an off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of nettles, mango and bay leaf. Flavour of orange and a grassy finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A typically solid DIPA from Overtone.

Can thanks to Andy. Appearance - murky yellow to orange. Nose - soft stone and tropical fruit with just an edge of zest. Taste - big mango, ripe melon and papaya notes with tinned peaches and dried apricots. Orange zest on the finish. Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle with a gently drying linger. Overall - delicious.
