Viva Patron might be the most unique beer of the set, utilising both coffee beans and ‘Midnight Oil’, a cold brew concentrate from Climpson and Sons. This 8% Dark Ale is black as the night sky, and incorporates tequila-soaked oak into the brew, with added sweetness from agave syrup and Muscovado sugar. We’ve used Climpsons’ ‘The Baron’ coffee beans for this beer; and we’re certainly no stranger to them as they feature in our Broken Dream Breakfast Stout range. This is a true coffee liqueur experience in a beer.

Аромат интересный, сраху сухой, шоколад, много кофе и какао зерен. На вкус уже более грубо но с такой же сухостью. Черное кофе в старом формате, зерна прям. Что то не зашло, лично мне, но олд стайл.

Can at home picked up from Siren online. A dark nut brown coloured pour with a creamy magnolia head. A creamy oak, vanilla, balsa, wet wood, wet coffee bean. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, coffee bean, vanilla, oak, balsa, faint roast, balsa, weak coffee, oaky woody tannin. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation, some alcohol in the finish. Not bad.

330ml panda from LCB. Mahogany with dark beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee, coffee liqueur, wood, toffee. Taste of expresso combined with the tequila-oak and caramel note is very nice indeed. Finish is ok - roast, spice, herbs, reasonable bitterness. Medium bodied with a mild syrup texture although maybe a touch light for 8%. Still very good.

Dark brown colour with thin head. Nice malty ale with obvious coffee notes. Not so roasted or bitter though.
