Bready and sweet, our very first Maibock is a collaboration with the lager enthusiasts over at Donzoko and pours a golden-amber shade, full of lightly caramelised malt flavour evoking freshly baked bread, and finishing with a light spiciness thanks to a gentle hopping of Saphir.

Very nice. All those good bready malt flavours, light, slightly peppery in the finish.

440ml can. Clear golden amber, white head. Aroma of pale bready malts, caramel, slightly grassy/herbal hops. Taste of sweet bready malts, caramel, grassy, herbal, lightly toasted grains, finish is slightly bitter. Medium bodied. Solid.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear light amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fairly light malts, a little cream and caramel. Ripe citrus fruits, a vague but pleasant dessert wine vibe. Light and semi dry finish. A pleasant affair and I would probably be quiet entertained by a pint but hesitate at a second.
