Can 440ml (Hoptimaal)
Murky yellow colour, small white head. Pineapple, grapefruit, mango, gasoline in the nose. Medium-bodied. Juicy, lots of mango and pineapple, grapefruit and hop oils. Standard but very fresh and tasty.

Can from Against The Grain. Appearance - murky yellow to brown. Big foamy white head. Nose - earthy hops, some grassiness and yeast. Sorry, I'm not getting the many hops so well. Taste - more earthiness, some root vegetables, maybe parsnip and going into dried orange. Palate - medium bodied, quite chunky and chewy. Dry, fairly bitter finish. Overall - gnarly and not immediately enjoyable, but it grows!

440ml can. Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of earthy savoury shite mixed with ripe tropical fruits and citrus. Taste is, again, prominent Riwaka savoury hop shite mixed with ripe tropical fruits, mango, peach, pine, bitter finish. Medium body. Wonder where all these brewers were when divisive hops such as Sorachi or Sabro came to prominence yet apparently Riwaka is perfectly fine. So weird.
