A bold and hoppy black IPA brewed with Citra & Amarillo hops. Punchy citrus flavours and fruity marmalade notes sing over the top of light roasty malt notes, with notes of pine. Moderate bitterness on the finish.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with lovely roasted malt character crossed with toasted pine, cocoa and orange rind. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, a little charred resin, earth, pine, citrus accents, bitter cocoa. Solid.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. Low carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of liquorice root, woody malt and orange peel. Flavour of Dr Pepper, pine and cranberry. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It’s fine but doesn’t taste as concentrated as the best BIPAs I’ve tried.

440ml can. Pours a very dark brown, big tan head. Aroma of citrus, orange, dark malts. Taste is hop forward, citrus, orange, marmalade, pine, some chocolate and roast malt, caramel, bittersweet leading to a bitter finish. Great BIPA.
