Bottle. Enriched with HP cask no. 2115 and made specially for members of Highland Park Appreciation Society according to the label. Best before date: 10-10-2019. I think it's bottled in 2017? Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Boozy, Whiskey, roasted malt. Taste: Still a nice and well balanced beer. No signs of decay yet, as far as I can tell without having tasted the fresh one. Roasted malt, (Highland Park) Whiskey, notes of coffee, some umami and some licorice, bit earthy, hints of almonds. Smooth, even a bit creamy mouthfeel. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Hoppy backbone. Slightly sticky. Moderate to over moderate sweet and bitter. Nice one, even after so many years.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours black with a beige head. Roasty nose with fairly subtle whisky accents. Rich body, solid dark, roasty nalts - again with subtle whisky. It's really just a very well made Imperial Stout. Solid craftmanship - especially considering it's Braunstein. 161218
