Moon Rocks is a big, dark, sweet Imperial Stout. The beer is brewed with 8 malts, massive amounts of vanilla and a load of freshly roasted coffee from our neighbours – Stewarts of Trent Bridge. The beer is very lightly hopped as the coffee balances and contributes to the bitterness. After maturation, the final result is a decadent bold and deliciously indulgent beverage.

33cl bottle. Poured pretty much black in color with a thin brown head. Some ash tray aroma, coffee beany and roasty. Roasty with too much ash. OK coffee notes.

330ml bottle @ Coracle, Ironbridge. Pours black, small tan topping. Aroma seems centred on chocolate with light roast. Taste sees smooth vanilla, confident coffee roast and gentle chocolate, nicely sweet and smooth overall with a relatively low bitterness. Good imp.

27th Dec 2018. Shared 330ml bottle in The Coracle, Ironbridge, Shropshire. Really enjoyed this high alcohol beauty. Almost black body wise, little tanned topping. Coffee, chocolate and vanilla esters rule the strong nose; the same three come through in the taste too. Far to easy to drink.

Keg at BD TH, 06/12/18. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose has a great coffee profile, dark malts, charr, chocolate biscuit, dried fruits. Taste comprises coffee grinds, roast malts, fruit cake, cocoa powder, brown sugar melt, light spice balance. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced warming boost. Solid well balanced coffee forward impy ... Neon Raptors best offering to date for me.
