500 ml bottle from BIBCO, $7! Pours a hazy mix of amber and cherry, with a fizzy, temporary head. Nose has that farmhouse funk, with sidebar of tea and flower pedals. Taste has more sourness than funk, candi malt, some tart cherry (since that was my impression from the nose). Makes my tongue curl up against it, which can be a good thing. Alcohol is there, too, with gentle warming.

16.9oz bottle. 10.3% 2022/2023 version. Pink-red unfiltered body. Hibiscus and Rose hip notes are nice. Rather dry for a beer of its strength, which is nice. I get a lot of unique rose hip tones the more I sip at it. Plays well with the saison yeast. If this had the effervescent body of a conditioned Belgian, it would really be something special. As it is, it is still quite enjoyable. Unique.

Cask: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of rosehips and hibiscus with some cereal notes is pleasant. Taste is also a mix of rosehips and hibiscus with light cereal notes and light residual sugar notes. Body is about average. Pretty enjoyable and refreshing.

An orange amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with candy sugar, light curacao, alcohol warmth, cloves, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, cloves, alcohol warmth, very nice. Cask at brewery.
