Sampled @ GBBF Day 3. Opaque dark brown to black color, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, huge barrel aging going on in there. Taste malts, sweet barrel influence, some alcohol, wood, a hint of dark fruits, raisins. Medium body, average to medium carbonation. Solid but not as good as I had hoped.

Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours black with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, rich roast, chocolate, fudge, toast, dark fruits, umami, liquourice, alcohol spice and cacao nibs. The taste is smooth, rich roast, loads of cacao nibs, treacle, malt loaf, plum, figgy, pudding, dry toast, brandy, dry wood and some alcohol with a dry finish. Full body and soft carbonation..I like the balance. Loads of cacao nibs. Awesome.
