Bottled (thanks Jonathan K.!). Murky ambery brown colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, banana, some raisins, alcohol and mild spiciness. Flavour is banana, some spicy yeast, mild raisins and some tropical fruity and caramelly tones too.

(Bottle) Brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, dates, figs, brown sugar, chocolate, hazelnuts and orange peel. Malty, spicy taste with chocolate icecream, caramel, treacle-toffee, dried fruit (dates, figs, raisins), brown sugar, fruitcake, cinnamon, hazelnuts, some orange peel and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite sweet. Straight-forward Belgian brown ale, well balanced and tasty. Quite enjoyable.

Tap at Bishops Arms Östersund. Sweet banana caramel flavours. Not awful but doesn't excite at all.

Bottle 33 cl. Named Vesper Ale on the label. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a rough, off-white head. Nose has rock candy, dark dried fruits and a slight spiciness - all very Belgian. Medium body, toffee, dried fruits and spices, Belgian yeast, but it's not really dominant. Sort of Trappist light. Nice one. 141218

Mild bitterhed i afslutningen, men helheten blir noe ufrisk.

Bottle shared with JMD at Bjørnøy 30.06.18. Dark copper. Diminishing pale brown head. Aroma of prunes, dates, dark caramel, syrup and blackcurrants. Similar taste, also with tar.
