A golden coloured ale with a fruity aroma from the late use of Saaz hops. The bitterness is refreshing bitterness that gives spritzy, continental tones. A zesty summer quaffer, quite different from some of our new world hop beers!

Cask at GBBF 2016. Day 1. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Grassy and lightly sweet, with some crispy hay. A little bland overall. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Prominent grassy bitterness abounds in the finish. So so.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Very thin malts with very mild sweetness. Bitterish thin floral hop, mild hop skunk. Insipid citrus and a trace of hop spice. Light finish. It’s okay but Mallinsons frustrate the hell out of me, they can brew much better than this.
