Iðunn, the keeper of apples and granter of eternal youthfulness. Idolised in the Poetic Edda Lokasenna - a pagan era goddess. A smooth drinking medium still cider, low in acidity but with a dry mouthfeel imparted from the pressing of specially chosen British bittersweet cider apples. The true taste of the forbidden fruit and a great all year staple that pairs well with food.

Keg from the Fierce & Noble bar at the Chippenham Folk Festival. Deep gold. Sweetish apple juice with just a hint of apple skins and a very light funkiness. It's like one of those mass market craft ciders designed to offend as few people as possible at the expense of any real character. Sure enough, I'm not offended. It's easy drinking, fairly refreshing and pleasant enough. It's fine.

Box @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Pale golden, clear, dry cider with a smoothness to it. Apple is evident but a tad understated.

500ml bottle from Orchard Box. Orange golden colour, no head and fruity sour apple aroma. Taste is fleshy apple, juicy, some fruit, tart, apple skins, and dry tannins. Slightly watery mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy tart & tannic finish. Quite OK.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. [GBBF no. 4 Cider] Clear bright yellow color, no head. Aroma is moderately sweet and sugary, but the flavor is quite dry. Hmm I tend to like the aroma but the flavor is quite boring imo.
