Part of my 2013 backlog, and tried at the 2013 Peterborough Beer Festival. Golden colour with a white head aroma like orange marmalade, as is the taste, but this also has pine.

(Cask at Holborn Whippet, Holborn, London, 8 Apr 2014) Hazy golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with biscuit, citrus and slightly toasty malt. Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, bready malt, tropical fruit and a certain citric bitterness in the finish. Rather thin body, with a slight sweetness. Quite tasty, but the flavours don’t really come together as a unit. Not perfectly balanced, but still quite nice.

Cask at CBC, 4th January 2013. Pale gold with thin white head and scant lacing. Sweetish caramel malt aroma. Mildly hoppy in-mouth, with quite a lot of sweet malts. Late honey kick. Sweetish end with mild hops. Smooth mouthfeel and light body.
