375ml bottle shared at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with a little life. The aroma is roasty, molasses, chocolate and coconut. The flavour is strong sweet, with a silky smooth, creamy chocolate, red berry fruit, sugary, warm alcohol, light liqourice bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Draught@TCBW2023. Black colour, small head. Aroma is toffee, liquorice, some toffee and mild alcohol with some alcohol and mild spiciness to it. Flavour is oaky, sweet liquorice, chocolate, cinnamon and some mild toffee, alcohol and a bit vanilla as well.

Vi er nå på oppløpssiden på en superb Mi2 på Cardinal, der er ikke et edru blodomløp i sikte, og fornøyde smil brer seg rundt bordet når semermonimester Melberg kommer med disse 0,375 flaskene fra Lervigs eksklusive Rackhouse-serie: nesten helt svart, så og si uten skum. Lekre, mørke dessertchokolader med fyll av karamell, vanilje og kokos og nytraktet luxuskaffe. Kan lett føre til en utsøkt form for karakterdannende dagdriveri.

375 ml purple waxed bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 13.2%. Pitch black colour, small and shortlived brown head. Strong boozy aroma of fusel alcohols and American whiskey, also chocolate / cocoa, vanilla, oak and coffee. Moderate to low carbonation in the glass. Very sweet and cloying flavour with the same elements as the aroma, dominant alcohol, cocoa and vanilla. Good only in small portions, the bottle is for sharing.

From bottle at Cirkus with Bjørn after seeing Cuvari Formule with him and Idar at the cinema. Enony.. Almost no head. Excellent aroma and taste of vanilla, coconut, dark chocolate, blueberries and blackberries – all balanced with fine bitterness.
