Taster at Bittercreek. Violet pour, small bubbly head . Fruity aroma, mild tartness, more grape than blueberry. Taste also seemed like grape juice, fruity, soft tart notes.

Sampled from the tap at Brasserie Saint James. Pours a hazy light purple with a red hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has tart lemon and light blueberry with a light straw note underlying. Flavor has tart blueberry and a growing lemon with ain’t sweet grain backing.

5 oz draft. Aroma is decent blueberry with lemon juice. Flavor is lightly tart blueberries and soft acidic aftertaste. About what you would expect.

Aromas are yeast, wet grain and a little overripe blueberry. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, a little more tart than sweet and blueberries seem spoiled. Body is on the thin side. Drain pour

4 December 2022. Merry on the Prairie #2 @ Hal 16. Thanks, Jasper, and cheers to the crew!
A: clear red, no head.
A: blueberry coulis, redcurrant, lemon peel, vague butter.
T: sour blueberry & redcurrant, sweetish fruit jam.
F: softly tart berries & lemon, bit bready.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Leans more towards Fruit Beer than a fruited Sour, but okay.

On tap at Prairie OKC, pours an opaque dark red with a medium white head. Aroma brings out deeply blueberry puree, a touch of lemon zest, and what seems like a sort of chocolatey character even though there apparently is none. Flavour is much more muddled, with earthy blueberry puree, a touch of lemon, and a bunch of muddled earthiness. The fruit doesn't come through as well on the flavour, It's not too sweet, sour or acidic; but the flavours are just not that pleasant.
