Cask at the Cock, 28/03/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering that thins to a swirl and edgework. Nose is dusty hops, citric sherbet, red grapefruit, soft bread dough, light minty notes. Taste comprises orange pith, mineral bite, lemon rind, light mango, juicy hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semiu drying close. Decent enough stuff.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma has lots of juicy citrus, some tropical fruits, papaya, mango. Light sweet flavor with dry hay, chalky minerals, bitter pine needles, dry pale bread, some lemon rind. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation; decent condition. Assertive bitter citrus rind to finish with more flity minerals, dry hay and pine, dried out pale malts. A touch out of balance but decent overall.

Cock Tavern. Cask. Brewer Mario was happy for this hop variation of XX Superior No. 5 to be added. Pretty much a clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and light with fine carbonation. Light floralness, a little juicy orange and light marmalade. Lesser grapefruit and lemon tang. Smooth finish. Light and very tasty.
