Cock Tavern. Cask. Pretty much a clear dark amber beer with a tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and airy and with super fine mild carbonation. Very light malt with touch of sweet toffee and also a light coffee tone as if from a harder roasted malt. Tangy dried fruits with a light bitterness. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Malty aftertaste with a whisper of smoke. Not bad.

cask@Hare and Billet, Blackheath - pours dark brown with a reddish hue in colour with a good sized off-white head. Toasty and malty, some caramel, syrup, toffee/fudge, with some earthy herbalness to it, and medium bitter finish. Nice.

Cask at the Cleveland Arms - London. Pours rich amber with a foamy, white head. The nose has toasted whole grain bread, light fruits. Light to medium sweet flavor with further, toasted grainy bread, toffee, even hints of cocoa. Light bitterness, slight earth and leaves. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Light tangy berries on the finish, some bready malts, toasted toffee, faint leaves. A touch too tangy but otherwise pretty good.
