Ever so slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish off-white head that fades fairly quickly, but leaves a thinnish not-nice head on the sides. Aroma of deep roasted coffee notes with some light hops and alpha acid bitterness and a smooth malt and metallic note with a touch of grain and soft caramelised sugars towards the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong earthy roasted coffee bean notes dominate the flavour with a roasty and very pungent earthy bite with some brewed coffee in the flavour, a light dose of sweetness and a smooth malt character with some enjoyable and well-balanced flavours, but especially the earthy coffee flavours. Aftertaste shows some earthiness, a lot of chocolatey and more pungent, sweet and creamy coffee characteristics with a smooth caramelised sugar and lightly bitter finish with a good robust complexity, especially at the end. Overall, a nice and balanced beer that does still show some hop bitterness, but a robust bite and depth from the complexity and caramelised sugars help to make this full-flavoured, yet still slightly pungent from the hops. A nice, elegant and one of the better 'coffee IPAs' that i've had and well recommended, especially if you like both products, like I do! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 12-September-202 for US$2,79, sampled at my house here in Washington on 02-February-2021.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours dark gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma of coffee - maybe the grounds. Citrus. Med body or so. Flavor is medium roast coffee, citrus bitterness, low key caramel support - slightly roasty. Dryish. Bitterish. Wouldn't be my go-to ale, but it's tasty enough.

Soil, coffee, fudge, moss, grass aroma. Clearly amber, thick head, nice lace. Coffee and lemongrass. Medium body, easy carbonation.
Gold pour. Thick white foam with nice lace around glass. Fruity chocolate and coffee flavor with a sour palate and a vanilla coffee finish.

Hippy sixties can. Love, sex, rock and drugs era. $1 dollar bin choice, tho I don't like IPA, how could I pass up this tick? Yellow pale with a big white foamy head. Smell is off a little, weird combination on the olfactory. First taste is largely bitter but less so than expected for an IPA. Bitterness cover up most of the coffee, if there is some. Rude and crude yet just a little more than a stronger APA in impact. Finish eventually does rise to IPA level but the coffee is just faint, they need a little more in the mix to call it coffee. If you didn't see it on the label, you may miss it.

Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Roast and coffee aroma. Coffee and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Coffee and grapefruit linger with light chocolate and light pine. Nice balance.

Always forget how much I love a good coffee IPA, and this pint makes for a damn fine one. Bright citrus hop notes are present without being overpowering, offering a burst of orange marmalade before settling into a firm, roasted java middle. Finishes roasty and bitter, with a pleasing mix of coffee bite and hoppy pine. Mild caramel undertones provide a lovely but restrained sweetness. Just a lovely pint.
