Lovely Brown Ale. Can't really get my head round the description of it as a mild.

Cask at Craft Beer Co St Mary Axe. Aroma is sweet... caramel and berry. Opaque cola... a ruby hint. Creamy beige head. Medium bitter. Charcoal and coffee. Burnt caramel. Berries. Medium bodied. Average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. OK. My Black Country colleague is not impressed at this Ruby Mild attempt.

Can. Pretty much a clear deep amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth malts, some thin creamy sweetness, decent biscuity caramel and a little dark toffee. The Bullion hops, main reason I splashed out on this beer, present as ripe fruity and with a decent dark berry vibe if not as stridently blackberry - blackcurrant as some other single hop affairs I have quaffed. Smooth finish. Not quite an Imperial mild, but on the way.

On tap at The Beer Emporium Bristol. Deep ruby colour lasting beige head. Full malty beer. Lots of malt. Some sweetness. OK. A bit cake like. Like a red velvet cake with extra malt. Entertaining enough. Lots of residual sugar. Not exactly fully attenuated.
