Can at home in Hackney - picked up From Elusive online. Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet flavour, pithy and flinty, some lemon peel, crispy pale malts. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Fairly clean finish, lightly flinty, nips of pine needles, more lemon rind. Not bad.

Can from Elusive 's webshop. It pours ever so lightly hazy golden - yellow with a a small, but lasting white head. The aroma is green, sappy, dry pine, resinous, twist of lemony citrus and grapefruit. The taste is drying, kick of bitterness which mellows, greenish, piney, resinous, floral, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, pomelo, bitter lemon peel and a fairly clean malt base with a dry finish. Average body and carbonation. Drinks fine but maybe lacks a bit of wow? Not bad.

Cask at White Hart Chobham. Aroma is herbal, with stone fruit hints. Clear gold. Frothy foamy white head. Medium bitter with a sour edge that combined citrus and vinous ones. Underlying fruit sweetness and malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Old school APA.
