2/3rds of a pint from the tap at JB's Brewhouse, St Helier, Jersey. Pours pale golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of herbs, cloves, hints of spice, grass & flora. Moderate body. Dry finish. Highly enjoyable on a hot day

Riverside Beer Fest 22. Arom is fruity and unintrusive. Hazy pale milky orange. Foamy head attempts bubbliness but thins out. Medium bitter. Tart stone fruit. Followed by creamy oaty sweet fruit. Heavy bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Dry finish. Slips down.

Keg at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Beautiful golden, clear with a light froth of white head. Sweet, musty aroma with light berry notes and some old ground coriander. Taste is sweet with a light savoury note creeping in halfway, sweet spice and some overripe gooseberry. Finish is way too short but the heavy carbonation almost makes up for it. You can't go wrong with Buxton.

On keg at JB's Brewhouse. Appearance is light, golden yellow and hazy. The nose is sweeter than expected with gooseberry and greengage. Again the taste has sweet stewed fruits. There is some spice and candied fruit but not as dry as hoped for. Pleasant but not on style.
