Keg at Jolly Coopers, Epsom. Aroma has low key melon. Clear gold. Foamy white head. Medium bitter. Spice. Light citrus and sweet fruit. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Nice enough but unexciting.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 2nd April 2022. Gold with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Citrus zest and mildly spiced caramel malt aroma. Tangerine juice and candied peel in-mouth, and a juicy, fruity finish with a little rear-mouth bitterness. Light body and a zingy mouthfeel.

Bottle on the train home, 68011, 22/06/17. Golden blonde with a white head of bubbles ... from my bottle chugging view. Nose is citric sherbets, roasted grains, bready notes, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises melon, light peach, tangerine, grassy, toasted grains, Mandarin, roasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with light floral hop bitterness. Decent enough refreshing golde .... new label and perhaps some recipe tweaks since a year ago?
