500ml bottle as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light to mid-brown, mostly clear with a thin off-white head. Toffee, malt, a little tiny bit of prune, apple and sweet spice on the nose. Fairly bitter, but it doesn’t take over, with a woody funk leading to a dry finish. Medium body with slightly heavy carbonation. A pretty basic bitter that’s actually pretty decent but forgettable.

Bottle from Ammonite Fine Foods, Lyme Regis. Clear gold beer, small white head. Light and semi dry palate, mild fine carbonation. Clean pale malts. Mild floral bitterness. Touch of tangerine. Citric peel bitterness joins the floral bitterness and they both get stronger. Semi dry finish. Medium bitter linger. Not bad.
