Pours pale amber into a Sam glass. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Sour, rotting fruit aromas. Sour caramel upfront turning to bitter sour strawberry seeds in the lasting finish. Yuck. Drain pour...

(Bottled) Poured amber and clear with medium sized and white head. Aroma of malts, metallicness and sweetness. Medium bodied palate with medium carbonation. Tasted of malts, grass, sweetness, lightly bitterness and fruitiness. Malty aftertaste. Sort of a hoppy märzen.

12 ounce bottle from beerbill. Thanks! Best by March... no year indicated. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium foamy white head. Average head retention and poor lacing. Very nutty aroma with some stone fruit and toasted malt notes. Taste is nutty with bitter hops, green apple and subtle tart and bandaid notes. Something is not right here. Medium bodied.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with combined with notes of peaches and ginger. The flavor is sweet malty with an acidic touch and primary notes of malt, leading to a dry tart straw finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

2004 bottle @ Sunset Grill. Pours a moderately deep orange-copper. Very clear with a small lightly yellow tinged white head. Aroma of caramel corn, butter and lightly spicy hops. Flavor is quite sticy, buttery and pretty toffeeish. Good overall flavor of malt with a touch of hops hidden. As it warms, you can taste the light hops on the finish which give a good deal of flavor. Not overly crisp, more sticky and chewy, but at least it had a medium to medium full body which didnt thin out. Pretty tastey.
