Gravity cask at Halfway House, Pitney, Somerset. Pours clear amber brown with a slim off-white head. Aroma: malty, caramel, dark fruits. Taste: light sweet & bitter, caramel, light nutty, hedgerow berries. Medium body with low carbonation. Pretty decent.

Bottle – gift from Beer Dock, Crewe Has a musty aroma, featuring raspberries. Pours a light reddish brown with virtually no head. Raspberries again in the mouth, with a touch of cough syrup, and malty grains. Finish is long and bitter. There’s something not quite right about this one.

ABV: 4.3%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, light nutty, light hoppy, light grass and wood. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, nutty, caramel, sweet malt, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181020]

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, hops and fruits. Burnt sugar finish.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2017. Clear dark amber-red in colour. Has a sugary nose with a sweet-hoppy taste.
