473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with full light tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, plastic and salty chocolate. Flavors of roasted malts and a huge dose of kelp; and not in a good way. Almost a drain pour after having an 8.4 rated beer.
Why don’t BC brewers focus on making big flavorful stouts instead of adding crap to fairly low ABV/malt base beers?

Dark brown. Thin head. Full body, light acidity and dark fruit, low bitterness.

Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with small beige head. Lots of roast malt on the nose, mostly a roast malt forward brew with some very feint salty green kelp notes in the background (like those you would find in a side dish at a Korean restaurant).

On tap at Luppolo, pours a deep dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, a touch of cocoa, and a touch of seaweed. Flavour has nice toasted malt, cocoa, and some earthiness. Not getting the kelp here, but pleasant malt character. Good.

6oz pour at brewery. Pours black with small beige head. Aroma is nice and roasty. Flavour has a deep roasted malt character, finished with some bright hops. Very nice Baltic porter.
